A practical workshop for the next generation of biotechnologists

As part of #RGMBS2026, the Next Generation Biotechnologist Forum presents Building Agentic AI Tutor for Biomedical and Life Sciences. The workshop is led by Dr. Omar Saleem, MD, Physician & AI Builder and Founder & CEO of the Geneva College of Longevity Science (GCLS) AI Academy.

No coding is required, and there is no installation needed. Participants will work through the full path from trusted scientific sources to a working tutor they can download and continue to develop.

Build, assess, and govern a working tutor

Participants will build an AI tutor grounded in trusted scientific sources, then add adaptive assessment capabilities so it can quiz, grade, and respond to the learner’s progress.

The workshop also covers governance and safety mechanisms, including ways to reduce hallucinations through refusal and escalation. Participants will see how the tutor can be redeployed across scientific domains and languages, including Arabic.

Workshop details

The workshop takes place on 16 September 2026, from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM, at Sofitel Riyadh Hotel & Convention Centre, Riyadh, KSA.

A Certificate of Completion will be awarded by GCLS. This is a focused, hands-on session for participants who want to understand what agentic AI can make possible in biomedical and life sciences education.
